Cinco Snyder grew up with a deep love for golf and a strong belief in giving back to the community. From a young age, he spent countless hours on the golf course, perfecting his swing and fostering a profound appreciation for the sport's camaraderie and connection. Yet, it wasn’t until a personal tragedy struck his family that Cinco combined his passion for golf with a cause that hit close to home.
Both of Cinco's grandmothers were diagnosed with breast cancer. Both vibrant and strong-willed women. They approached their diagnosis with the same resilience they had instilled in their grandchildren. Their courage inspired Cinco to take action. Witnessing firsthand the challenges of battling breast cancer—the medical treatments and emotional toll—Cinco realized there was more he could do to support not only his grandmothers but also countless others facing similar struggles.
The first Pink Tee Classic will be held in April 2025, and despite the challenges of organizing a large event, Cinco is determined to make it a success. He partnered with the Breast Cancer Resource Center, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting patients and funding critical research. Cinco leveraged his connections in the golf community, recruited friends and family to volunteer, and approached local businesses for sponsorships. The result will be a day filled with joy, laughter, and hope—a celebration of life and resilience on the golf course.
